Painting Garden District.
Garden District is south of the freeway, with the kind of quiet streets where kids still ride bikes after dinner. It's a mix of original 1950s ranchers, mid-century split-levels, and a wave of younger families renovating older homes since about 2018. Easy walk or bike down to City Beach or the Centennial Trail from most of the neighborhood.
We do a lot of interior repaints here for families that just bought a fixer, plus the occasional full-exterior on an older rancher whose paint is finally giving up. South of I-90 you catch a little more sun and a little less lake humidity than downtown, but the freeze-thaw still gets your trim if you skip a year too long.

Climate & prep considerations
