Painting Hayden Canyon.
Hayden Canyon is one of the newer subdivisions on the Hayden side, mostly Craftsman and New Traditional builds with the kind of mountain-view lots that pulled folks from Spokane and beyond. Most of these homes are five to ten years old now, which puts them right at the first repaint window for trim and the first cabinet refinish for owners who want to update the builder-grade kitchen.
We do a lot of cabinet work here, swapping out builder oak or maple for a more modern painted finish. South-facing trim sees enough mountain UV at altitude that it usually needs a touch-up before the rest of the exterior is due.
What we see on Hayden Canyon homes.
Common home styles
New Craftsman builds, New Traditional, and two-story traditional with stone-and-siding mix.
Popular projects
Cabinet refinishing and repainting (builder-grade to custom), trim refresh, accent wall and interior color updates, and sometimes early-life touch-up exteriors on south-facing walls.
Climate & prep considerations
Mountain UV at altitude fades dark exterior colors faster than you'd expect. New builds here often need a touch-up on south-facing trim within five years — we typically scope that as a small spot job rather than a full repaint.
